Castors with wheels can be attached to any surface in different ways. Four hole plates, threaded stems, angle plates, and expansion bolts, are just a few.

This threaded stem fits on to  a 40 mm unhooded plastic caster. It has an M8 thread, and a  thread length of 25 mm.
