These latches have a cam which rotates at 90 degrees, and a die cast housing and cylinder. Such locks could either have offset or straight cams.
They are mostly used in metal cabinets, electrical cabinets and similar enclosures, cash boxes and key boxes. They are also used to secure anything from toolboxes and cabinets, to machine covers and marine compartments.
